Do you know that you can create your own feelings? That you can make yourself sick? It’s pretty interesting when you think about it. How you can decide for yourself how to feel. No one can touch you unless you want them too. For example, let’s say that you have blonde hair. And you meet someone who says that you are so ugly in your purple hair. How would you feel? You would probably be like… eeehhmmm okay.. and think that they are just being crazy. BUT if you’re having a bad hair day and someone make a bad comment about your hair you would probably get upset. Am I right? That’s because your thoughts created your feelings.
Being grateful is another thing. Some people just don’t see the nice things someone else is doing for them. Instead they look for something bad. If you’re looking for something bad in something that someone is doing for you, your thoughts are probably that they are doing it to annoy you. And that thought is making you mad. Again, your thoughts created your feelings.
It’s the same when it comes to sad things. You don’t start crying for no reason. It’s the thought that made you cry. I’m not saying its a bad thing to cry but I really want you to see the power in your thoughts and feelings.
Next time a loved one is trying to do something nice, even though they didn’t make it perfect think the thought of love. That they did it to be nice. Next time someone is saying something bad about you, just ignore it because that person is probably not doing so well. Again, your thought decide how you feel.
You can choose to be happy or you can choose to be mad at everything and everyone. So start paying attention to your thoughts. Because they do matter.
